The Head of the State Police, Skënder Hita, orders local police structures to intensify measures to crack down on the distribution of narcotics near and within the security perimeter of schools.
The document, signed by the General Director of the State Police, Director Madhor Skënder Hita, directs local police directorates in the country to take measures.
According to the content of the telegram, the reason for taking these measures was several events that occurred during the 2024-2025 school year in and around school premises, including cases of distribution of narcotics and unauthorized possession of cold weapons.
The document states that these incidents have occurred as a result of "the poor work of police structures", which, according to the leaders, have not fulfilled their functional duties to prevent and combat the phenomenon.
The document in the format of a Telegram highlights several main issues:
lack of information on the criminal situation of drug distribution near schools;
lack of planning of criminal police services and operational forces;
poor cooperation with security officers and school administrators.
As part of the new measures, local police leaders are ordered to organize special services in every educational institution, engaging criminal police agents to identify and crack down on drug dealers.

the use of special investigation methods when legal conditions are met;
monitoring the sale of prohibited products to minors under 18 years of age;
