An explosion with explosives was recorded in the early hours of the morning in the village of Rrilë, Lezha.
According to preliminary information, the explosive material exploded at the outer gate of a house owned by citizen Tom Çungu, who appears to be temporarily living in Italy.
It is learned that the apartment where the explosion occurred has been uninhabited for more than 20 years. The incident caused only material damage.
"Around 06:40, in the village of Rrilë, Lezhë, at the outer gate of the apartment owned by citizen T. Ç., with temporary residence in Italy, a quantity of explosive material exploded, causing only material damage. (No one has lived in this apartment for more than 20 years).
Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services and the investigation team went to the scene.
"Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, investigative actions are being carried out to fully clarify the circumstances and legally document the case, with the aim of identifying and apprehending the perpetrator(s)," the police announced.
