A 54-year-old firefighter in the municipality of Pogradec was arrested after a quantity of cannabis was found on the premises of a bar he owned.
According to the police report, citizen LS, 54 years old, resident of Pogradec, is suspected of using the premises he managed to carry out the activity of distributing narcotics.
Police seized a quantity of suspected cannabis and a sum of money in the possession of the 54-year-old.
"Investigations with proactive methods and intensive controls, aimed at preventing and cracking down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics."
The police operation codenamed "Activity" is finalized.

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section of the Korça Police Department, in continuation of their work to prevent and crack down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics, have conducted investigations using proactive methods and as a result have cracked a case of drug sales.
As part of the police operation codenamed "Activity", citizen LS, 54 years old, resident of Pogradec, (firefighter in the Pogradec municipality) was arrested in flagrante delicto.
"During the search of the premises managed by this citizen, in neighborhood no. 1, Pogradec, the Police services found a quantity of narcotics, part of which had been divided into doses ready for sale, a sum of money which is suspected to have been obtained from this activity and 2 mobile phones, which were seized as material evidence," the police announced.
