A floor suspected of being built without a permit above the "Oasis Hotel" in Saranda has been placed under preventive seizure by order of the Saranda Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction.
It is a new construction structure measuring 22.9 meters x 13.4 meters x 3.5 meters, built on the terrace of a 6-story hotel, located on "Butrinti" Street, in neighborhood no. 1 of the coastal city.
According to official documents, the Saranda Prosecutor's Office requested the imposition of the property security measure "Preventive Seizure", a request which was accepted by the court on May 12, 2026. The object is registered with property no. 18/191, ZK 8642 and is owned by citizen Alqi Papa.
Following the court's decision, prosecutor Silvana Belishta ordered the immediate execution of the security measure by the Sequestered and Confiscated Assets Administration Agency, in cooperation with the Police Supervision Agency.
