The Police Supervision Agency (AMP) has launched investigations into the chain of command of the Divjaka Police Commissariat, under suspicion of the criminal offense of "Abuse of duty", following the discovery and seizure of 1,426 cannabis sativa narcotic plants cultivated in the Divjaka area.
According to sources, the case has been referred to the Prosecutor's Office, as it is suspected that the police station leaders have not exercised the necessary controls and verifications to identify and crack down on plots planted with cannabis.
The plot was discovered a few days ago in the area called "Divjaka Reservoir", on state-owned land. During the police operation, 1,426 cannabis sativa plants, 37 kilograms of suspected cannabis in the process of drying, and 7 kilograms of cannabis in the form of bottles were seized.
Following the investigations, three employees of the Regional Administration of Protected Areas in the Fier region have also been placed under criminal proceedings, suspected of the criminal offense of "Abuse of office".
"During the operation, in the place called 'Divjaka Reservoir', on state land, an environment adapted for the drying and processing of narcotic plants was found. In this environment, 37 kilograms of suspected cannabis narcotic substance in the process of drying and 7 kilograms of suspected cannabis narcotic substance in the form of bottles were found. The narcotic substance was seized as material evidence, for the purpose of conducting an expertise."
Following the procedural actions, the specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Sector at the Fier DVP referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were initiated in absentia for the criminal offense of 'Abuse of office', against three employees of the Regional Administration of Protected Areas in the Fier district, citizens: ET, 33 years old, with the duty of sector manager, FH, 37 years old, with the duty of management specialist and GA, 53 years old, with the duty of guard .
