Kavaja police have announced a search for two young men after discovering two premises adapted for gambling in different areas of the city. It is suspected that a 26-year-old and a 20-year-old had rented the premises and were using them for this illegal activity.
During the inspections in neighborhood no. 6 and neighborhood no. 1 in Kavaja, officers found that the premises had been adapted for gambling with slot machines. In total, 16 devices were found and seized, which served to carry out this activity.
One of them, 26 years old, is suspected of managing the premises in neighborhood no. 6 where 5 machines were found, while the 20-year-old is linked to the premises in neighborhood no. 1 where 11 of them were seized.
Authorities continue to work to locate and detain two wanted persons, while the materials have been referred to the Durrës Prosecutor's Office for further investigations.

Two venues adapted for gambling with slot machines have been discovered in Kavaja.
Two citizens are wanted, who had rented the two premises where gambling equipment was found and seized.
16 machines that were used to carry out this illegal activity were seized.
Following information received by the General Directorate of the State Police and the finalization of operations in Kurbin, Milot and Tirana to adapt the premises for the development of games of chance with slot machines, another piece of information has arrived at the General Directorate of the Police regarding two premises in two neighborhoods of the city of Kavaja, which had been adapted for games of chance.
Based on this information, the Police services organized and finalized the operation codenamed "The Fate of Games".
During the operation, 2 premises were discovered in neighborhood no. 6 and neighborhood no. 1, in Kavaja, adapted for the illegal organization of gambling.
Following the procedural actions, the following citizens were declared wanted:
KC, 26 years old, after 5 slot machines were found and seized in neighborhood no. 6, Kavajë, in a premises rented by him;
K. Ç., 20 years old, after 11 slot machines were found and seized in neighborhood no. 1, Kavajë, in a rented space.
Efforts are underway to capture two wanted citizens.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further action.
"The State Police thanks citizens for their cooperation and invites them to report any case of illegality, guaranteeing complete anonymity, a quick and professional response," the police announced.
