A 33-year-old man has been arrested after crashing a police motorcycle while driving under the influence.
Official police sources reported that the citizen with the initials Xh. I. fell behind bars.
"Road Traffic Specialists arrested citizen Xh. I., 33 years old, resident of Durrës, in flagrante delicto.
His arrest was made after on the Plepa-Shkozet road, the vehicle he was driving while intoxicated collided with a Police vehicle, in which there were two Traffic Police officers on duty. The accident only caused material damage.
These same specialists referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated against a 17-year-old, after he was found to be driving a vehicle without a driver's license.
The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Shijak Police Station arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen A. Ç., 33 years old, resident of Manëz, Durrës, after on 24.11.2025, at 19:00, in the village of Sallmone, Shijak, he is suspected of having attempted to steal a parked vehicle, owned by the citizen AH.
"They also referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated against citizen IT, 41 years old, resident of Shijak, as he is suspected of having exercised violence against his wife. The procedural materials were referred to the Durrës Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
