New details have emerged regarding the reported physical conflict between the Director General of the National Waste Management Agency, Dhimitraq Prishka, and Benard Fejzollari, who has been declared wanted by the police.
According to Prishka's statement to investigators, the clash between them began after arguments over the dismissal of Fejzollari and another employee, who worked at this agency. The institution was merged as part of the restructuring process of state institutions, based on a decision of the Council of Ministers.
In his testimony, Prishka claimed that he was initially verbally insulted by Fejzollari. Later, according to him, the argument escalated into physical violence, where he was first slapped in the face and then punched.
Prishka stated that he only reacted in self-defense, hitting Fejzollari after the alleged attack on him.
Meanwhile, authorities are continuing their investigations to fully uncover the circumstances of the incident. Benard Fejzollari has been declared wanted by the police.
