Accident on the Korça-Bilisht axis, car hits motorcycle; driver seriously injured

A serious road accident occurred on the Korça-Bilisht axis, near the village of Zëmblak.

According to preliminary data, a motorcycle driver lost control of the vehicle while driving, going off the road.

As a result, he sustained serious injuries and was urgently taken to the Korça Regional Hospital. Medical sources indicate that the injured man is in the intensive care unit, where he is receiving intensive treatment from medical staff.

Police services have arrived at the scene, and have launched investigations to determine the full causes and circumstances of the accident.
