Artjol Xhelo had problems with depression.
New details have emerged regarding the tragic death of former police officer Artjol Xhelo, who was found burned inside a vehicle in Llogara.
The 32-year-old was from the village of Gajde in Berat.
He resigned from the police force in 2023. It is suspected that his departure came after the young man fell in love with a police officer.
He has also had problems with depression.
He committed suicide under conditions of depression. Security cameras at nearby businesses were checked and it was seen that he was alone when he entered Llogora.
The suspicions are that the victim doused the vehicle with gasoline and got inside it as it was engulfed in flames.
