The identity of the Chinese citizen who lost his life in the tragic accident on the Librazhd-Elbasan axis has been revealed.
According to Chinese media, he is Li Jianhong, chairman and president of Xinjiang Grand Scape Group and founder of the Silkroad Mountain ski resort in Urumqi.
Li Jianhong was born in December 1965 in Zepu County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang. In 1993, he left his job at a telecommunications institute in Guangzhou to return to Xinjiang and build his business.
Xinjiang Grand Scape Group, with activities in telecommunications, tourism and investment management, has grown into a large enterprise with total assets of about 1.4 billion yuan (about 205 million dollars). In the past three years, the company has achieved revenue of about 1.98 billion yuan and employed about 2,500 people.
