From phone conversation to secret surveillance, how a 20-year-old Albanian was

Italian police in Bolzano have arrested a 20-year-old Albanian, with the initials BK, who is suspected of being involved in cocaine trafficking in the northern area of the country.

The intervention of the patrols on "Innsbruck Street" led to the detection of a suspicious vehicle driven by a young man who was making a phone call. After secretly following him, they arrived at the Colle cable car parking lot.

His subsequent movements, nervous during the conversation, caused the officers to intervene while he was refueling the vehicle at the distributor. The Albanian tried to wet himself, but without success. During the search of the vehicle, inside a hidden compartment in the back, the officers found a package containing over a kilogram of cocaine.

The Albanian was a resident of Emilia Romagna. He was arrested for possession of narcotics with the intent to sell and was taken to the Bolzano prison, where he will be held by judicial authorities.

The Chief of Police of Bolzano, Giuseppe Ferrari, stressed that "the operations recently carried out by the State Police, which led to the seizure of large quantities of drugs, are the result of increased territorial controls implemented in the province in recent weeks. These results", he added, "demonstrate the effectiveness of a strategy aimed not only at preventing drugs from reaching our young people, but also at attacking the economic foundations of criminal organizations", informs the Italian media.
Over the past month, ten traffickers have been arrested and more than seven kilograms of drugs have been seized, of which 6 kg are cocaine, as well as 60 thousand euros in cash.
