A 44-year-old man has been arrested in Durrës after he went to a bar with an axe and threatened two people.
The incident occurred due to a conflict over weak motives. The police inform that citizen E. Dh., 44 years old, resident of Shkodra, was arrested in flagrante delicto.
"The immediate intervention of the Police services prevents the escalation of a conflict between several citizens, which could have serious consequences for life.
Threatening two citizens with an axe in a bar for weak motives, the 44-year-old is caught red-handed and the cutting tool (axe) is seized.
Immediately after the notification that in neighborhood no. 17, Durrës, a citizen was threatening two other citizens with a cutting tool (axe), due to a conflict over weak motives, the services of the Durrës Police Commissariat organized the work and immediately went to the scene.
As a result of the immediate intervention, the Police services prevented the escalation of the conflict that could have had serious consequences for the lives of the people involved, and arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen E. Dh., 44 years old, resident of Shkodra.
The 44-year-old citizen was caught red-handed, in neighborhood no. 16, while threatening citizens EA and ES, both residents of Durrës, with an axe.
"Also, criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen BK, who was aware of the conflict and did not notify the Police. The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further action ," the police announced.
