A serious incident occurred in the village of Metoq, Saranda, where a 71-year-old woman was found without signs of life in the well located in the yard of her apartment.
According to the Police, the body of the citizen with the initials MB, 71 years old, was found on November 18, 2025. Initial investigative actions suspect that the woman may have accidentally fallen into the well.
"Crime Investigation Specialists at the Saranda Police Station referred materials for evaluation after on 18.11.2025, citizen MB, 71 years old, was found without signs of life, in a well located in the yard of her apartment, in the village of Metoq, Saranda. Preliminary actions suspect that this citizen accidentally fell. Work continues to clarify and fully document the circumstances of this case ," the police announced.
