Other details have emerged from the Rinas assassination, where Gilmando Dani was killed on November 11, 2025, and police officer Muçi Shaljani, who was traveling with him, died four days later in the hospital.
The assassination comes in light of new evidence and the clues the investigative team has stopped at in solving this crime.

But how did the perpetrators' car get to the crime scene? And how did it appear there?
Was the area filled with informants who kept the firing squad informed, which as we said appears at the scene of the assassination just 2 minutes before the vehicle carrying Gilmando Dani and his friend Muçi Shaljani left the 'Mother Teresa' airport parking lot and moved towards the district.
What was the history of the car used in the crime and why was the electricity in the area cut off at the time of the assassination?
Gilmando Dani, who, as further revealed by the forensic examination, was found without any signs of life in the front seat of the 'Mercedes Benz' vehicle driven by his friend Muçi Shaljani, where he had been shot in the head.
Bullets that had penetrated his clothes, or even his handbag.
Dani had walked from the airport to his friend's car in the parking lot, wearing a hat and a Rolex watch.
But apart from his two mobile phones, one of which bore his initials, and personal belongings, police found nothing illegal in the car.
Even the amount of clothes he had taken with him suggests that his trip to the Spanish state would be short.
"During the examination of the body of citizen Gilmando Dani, at the premises of the IML, Tirana, several injuries to the body and an injury to the head were found, caused by the passage of bullets from a firearm. Three metal shells, three shell casings and a shell core were removed from the victim's body," the investigative file states.
According to data provided by the show 'Në Shënjestër', the license plates of the 'Toyota' vehicle used by the shooters in the crime of murdering Gilmando Dani and Muçi Shaljani were stolen in Greece, almost a year ago.
A similar story is now repeated at every crime scene in Albania, where cars stolen inside or outside the country are kept in storage and then taken out and used in various crime scenes, as seems to have happened in the recent assassination attempt in Rinas.
Meanwhile, the car in which the two victims were already traveling belongs to a company owned by Elvis Kosova, known as Visi i Garave, who deals with the sale and purchase of cars, and has participated in several car races.
Elvis Kosova turns out that a year ago he was arrested together with a Turkish citizen, identified as Yucehan Er, after they attempted to appropriate an 'Audi' vehicle worth 200 thousand euros through a fraud scheme.
Meanwhile, in July of this year, TNT was placed in his garage, in the area of the Tirana Zoo.
"From preliminary verifications, it results that the Greek license plates XZX 1059 were reported stolen on October 28, 2024, in the Greek state, and belong to an Opel Corsa vehicle, owned by a Greek citizen.
Also, from verifications in the E-fine system, it results that the 'Mercedes Benz' vehicle with license plates AB 099 UO, white in color, in which the injured party and the victim were traveling, is registered in the name of the company 'Mel Construction'," the investigative file states.
But what were the movements of Gilmando Dani and Muçi Shaljani in the Spanish state?
And how was it possible for a Police Surveillance agent to move with such a criminal contingent? Gilmando Dani, who had only been out of prison for 6 months, on charges of extortion for which he had been sentenced in 2018 to 12 years in prison, but who had only served 2/3 of the sentence?
"From the verifications of the Tims system, it results that citizens Gilmando Dani and Muçi Shaljani have registered an exit from the territory of the Republic of Albania on November 7, 2025, through the Rinas border crossing point, and have registered an entry into the territory of the Republic of Albania on November 11, 2025, also at the Rinas border crossing point," the investigative file states.
But what is surprising about their trip is that Gilmando Dani and Muçi Shaljani should have returned to Albania a day earlier, on November 10, and not on the 11th when they fell victim to the assassination attempt.
This is because their low-cost flight with the company 'Wizz Air' was canceled, thus postponing their return to their homeland by 24 hours, but this cancellation does not seem to have escaped them as the killers had accurate information regarding their movements, including the cancellation of the flight.
Which leads one to think that the source of the information was very close to them or that the killers may have followed them all the way to Spain.
Meanwhile, the reason for Dani and Shaljan's brief visit to Spain is still unclear.
According to data obtained from the video footage, what has been confirmed is the fact that the car with the platoon of shooters comes from the same road from which it then leaves.
For the purposes of the investigation, video footage taken by various private entities at the scene of the crime, as well as along the route that the perpetrators allegedly took to approach and leave the scene, have been seized and administered.

Por për të mësuar se si Gilmando Dani dhe Muçi Shaljani udhëtuan së bashku, grupi hetues nisi kërkimet edhe për mënyrën se si ata siguruan biletat e udhëtimit për në Spanjë.
Nga ku rezultoi se këto bileta nuk ishin prerë nga ata vetë, por nga një person i tretë që ishte paraqitur në emër të Muçi Shaljanit dhe që duket se kishte njohje të vjetra me administratoren e agjencisë së udhëtimit.
“Nga verifikimet paraprake, rezulton se këta dy shtetas kanë udhëtuar sëbashku dhe biletat e udhëtimit janë prerë në agjensinë e udhëtimeve ‘L… Travel’, Tiranë, me administratore shtetasen D. Ç.
E pyetur në cilësinë e personit që ka dijeni për rrethanat e hetimit, shtetasja D. Ç, ka deklaruar se në agjensinë e udhëtimeve të saj ka të punësuar pesë punonjëse, të cilat së bashku me të merren me rezervimin e biletave të udhëtimeve me avion, autobus, etj..
Rezervimet e udhëtimeve sipas saj bëhen me anë të paraqitjes fizike të klientëve pranë agjencisë ose nëpërmjet numrit të telefonit të kompanisë”, thuhet në dosje.
Por në rastin konkret D. Ç pranoi se prerja e biletave nuk ishte bërë nga vetë personat fizikë. Por nga një njohje e saj shoqërore, prej disa vitesh i cili prenotonte shpesh bileta në agjencinë e saj.
Jo vetëm për personin e tij, por edhe për familjarë dhe lidhje të tija shoqërore.
Siç kishte bërë edhe herën e fundit që kishte kontaktuar me të si administratore e agjencisë. Ku kishte kërkuar dy bileta udhëtimi.
Vetëm dy ditë përpara se Gilmando Dani dhe Muçi Shaljani të udhëtonin drejt Barcelonës në Spanjë.
“Më datë 5 Nëntor 2025 shtetasi R. T, ka prerë dy bileta në emër të shtetasve Gilmando Dani dhe Muçi Shaljani.
Biletat e avionit janë rezervuar për datën e nisjes 7 Nëntor 2025, ora 19:15 nga Rinasi për në Barcelonë me datë kthimi 10 Nëntor 2025. Por në këtë datë, pra më 10 Nëntor 2025, rreth orës 22:17 në emailin e agjensisë sonë të udhëtimeve mbërriti një njoftim se fluturimi i kthimit ishte anuluar. Për këtë fakt unë komunikova me shtetasin R. T që të njoftonte pasagjerët Gilmando Dani dhe Muçi Shaljani”, ka pranuar D.Ç.
Vetë D. Ç, administratorja e agjencisë turistike ku Dani dhe Shaljani kishin prerë biletat, tha për grupin hetues se udhëtimi u vendos të kryhej vetëm disa orë pas anulimit Më datë 11 Nëntor ora 11.20, me nisje nga Barcelona Dhe do të zgjaste 2 orë e 10 min.
“Sikurse ju bëra me dije udhëtimi i anuluar nga kompania ‘Ëizz Air’ u shty për më datë 11 Nëntor 2025 me orar nisje nga Barcelona në orën 11:20 dhe orar mbërritje në Tiranë në orën 13:55. Biletat për këto dy pasagjerë u rezervuan dhe u paguan nga shtetasi R.T.
"Who sent me their details via phone on the 'WhatsApp' application," he said.
D. Ç further said that she had no acquaintance with either Gilmando Dani or Muçi Shaljani.
While she could have understood that RT, her old social acquaintance who also booked the tickets, had family ties to Muçi Shaljani.
"I have never communicated or contacted citizens Gilmando Dani and Muçi Shaljani, and according to what I understand, RT may have family ties with citizen Muçi Shaljani. But many questions remain unclear about the event. Like the one about the lights being turned off in the area around the crime, a similar story like the murder of Gentjan Bejtja in the village of Nikël in Fushë-Krujës, that of Ravik Gurrë in Elbasan, or even that of Gëzim Sinomati who was shot by a sniper in Vlora.
Where in all cases, criminal groups exploit the lack of energy in the area where the crime will be committed.
