Tirana Police have arrested a wanted person after he assaulted an OSHEE employee on duty.
The 38-year-old man raped the employee with hard objects after she had gone to his premises to check the electricity meter.
The Tirana Court had imposed the security measure "prison arrest" on the young man.
"Crime Investigation Specialists at Police Station No. 2 made it possible to detain citizen SC, 38 years old, against whom the Court of Tirana, on 30.04.2025, had imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison".
According to the official announcement, the 38-year-old is suspected of having hit an OSHEE employee with hard objects in the premises of his establishment, who had gone to the facility to carry out verifications on the electricity meter.
"The police are continuing their investigations to fully document the incident, while the detainee's material has been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further legal action ," the police announced.
