All surrendered before the Republic Prosecutors

The whole story is serious, not simply because of the arrogance of a prosecutor and judge in joining forces against a lawyer, but especially because of the courage to change the evidence with which they were supposed to justify the arrest.

A lawyer has been arrested after a tense court hearing after he accused the prosecution and the judicial police officer in the case of manipulating the event and vowed to seek their criminal prosecution.

After the trial, the lawyer was called to the police and put in jail on charges of threatening the prosecution.

In an attempt to justify the arrest, the prosecution distributed an edited audio of the scene, attempting to present the promise of criminal prosecution against the prosecutor as physical persecution.

The whole story is serious, not simply because of the arrogance of a prosecutor and judge in joining forces against a lawyer, but especially because of the courage to change the evidence with which they were supposed to justify the arrest.

In its entirety, the entire event reflects a new kind of culture previously unsuspected among prosecutors in Albania, who are now trying to imitate the power and arrogance of SPAK prosecutors.

So, instead of SPAK becoming a model for their colleagues throughout Albania for the depth of investigation, the seriousness of professional work, and human integrity while maintaining distance from personal grudges against the subjects under investigation, they have in fact become an inspiration for arrogance, fabrication of facts, and personal revenge.

Thanks to them, we now have prosecutors in districts who behave like the worst examples of SPAK prosecutors, the ones who tell defendants in the courtroom: "You don't know what to do" or "You're scum."

And now we are faced with a new culture of citizens' confrontation with justice, where the lawyer is called part of the problem since he defends the accused, and the judge and the prosecutor's office team up to put him in prison.

All of this happened in full view of everyone, and above all in the eyes of those who have been supporting the Justice Reform for ten years. And I am one of them.

The power we gave them, initially defending the shortcomings in their formation, since no one dared to run, then supporting their first arbitrary actions, tolerating different standards that applied to the same crimes, then the lack of priorities in investigations and finally venting their personal grudges, we managed to create an arrogant gang, instead of a serious investigative institution, that has now designed its own power untouchable by anyone and acts as a separate Republic.

Their arrogance has gone to the point where even lawyers are now annoying them.

We who look at them from the outside, find it a scandal, but it's not like we live with their scandal. But those who are suffering from their arbitrariness have a very serious problem: they no longer know where to complain about this.

Ilir Beqaj from his prison cell tells SPAK that: "You have brought an accusation against me that you have not communicated to me", and nothing happens. He tells them that "you have arrested me as a high-ranking official, but I am not a high-ranking official", and nothing happens. Then today he wrote an open letter and reminded the deputies why they do not force the heads of justice institutions to account in the Assembly, but now it is too late.

The arbitrariness in his arrest, without being a high-ranking official, scared all his colleagues. And on the day Altin Dumani was reporting, not only were they not asking him about the SPAK scandals in the investigations, but they were all in competition with Zeqine to show him that they idolized him for his achievements. He was the most frightening example that we have touched the end in terms of the new justice.

The only new thing this justice system has now is that it doesn't resemble any of the evils of the old justice system, which was bad enough.
