Through a Normative Act, the Government has decided to amend the state budget. Thus, the Ministry of Finance will reallocate 11.8 billion lek, an amount that will be used for various projects, including strengthening digital security, improving national infrastructure, and advancing information technology in public administration.
More specifically, 3 billion lek will go to the new Sovereign Guarantee scheme for the agricultural sector, which will facilitate access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises. This also aims to contribute to increasing production capacities and improving market competitiveness.
An additional 5.6 billion lek will be reallocated from the identified savings, with the aim of strengthening digital security and supporting sustainable economic growth, through improving national infrastructure.
The Ministry of Finance emphasizes that, despite the changes in the budget, the deficit and the level of public debt remain unchanged.
