In regional and European geopolitics, Edi Rama has shown that he can be a good carpenter to build the comic scenes of his appearances, but not a serious caliber politician that through acquaintances with internationals would bring more investments and more security in the lands of the Albanians...

How do our politicians translate their personal acquaintances with foreign statesmen into favors for the nation and the state, and how do other politicians in the region and beyond?
What does Albania benefit from Rama's personal acquaintances with foreign politicians and what does Serbia benefit, on the other hand, from Vučić's acquaintances with world counterparts?
What stands out is that Edi Rama, in every meeting with an international character, in addition to extraordinary appearances (with jokes and overalls), has proven that he also possesses the magnetic ability to make friends (and girlfriends) among foreign citizens. He is cured of his inferiority complex and in communication with foreign politicians, including American presidents, he gives the impression that he is the supreme leader of two or three continents of the world.
But what does Albania benefit from this non-inferior appearance of Rama and his friendships with foreign politicians?
Garbage and Afghan refugees – trophies of Rama's diplomacy!
Cynics would say that from all this frenzy of friends that Rama has in the international arena, and from all that glamor that he tries to incarnate with slightly naive colors in his portrait towards foreigners, Albania benefits almost nothing.
The most valuable "goods" that can be converted into the diplomacy of Rama's jokes and overalls turn out to be only Melon's garbage and Afghanistan's refugees. And this is where Rama's ability to bestow Albanians with the favors that emerge from his friendships with internationals ends. Even his friendship with Vucic cannot be converted into any national value for Kosovo and for the Albanians in South Serbia.
This requires an even deeper socio-political and psychological analysis to understand where this homoduplex nature of Tirana's politicians lies, whose appearances are much superior, while their practical actions are much inferior. This reminds us of Enver's time, when the Albanians in Yugoslavia (50s-60s) suffered from Serbian terror and migrations to Turkey, while Albania was an ally of two superpowers - once with the USSR, the other time with China.
But what did the Albanians of Yugoslavia benefit from this alliance of Albania with the world superpowers? In addition to the addition of the Serbian burden on their backs, the Albanians here in Drini also benefited from some propaganda candy that came from Radio Tirana, which glorified socialist Albania, which "was impossible to be conquered by the Yugoslavs", because "Serbian tanks had to pass over the troops first" of Kosovars"(!).
See the irony: the Albanians of Kosovo had to fulfill two national obligations at that time - on the one hand, to resist the Serbian repression, and on the other hand, to become cannon fodder for socialist Albania, just so that the Serbian tanks could not occupied the "flower garden" of uncle Enver.
And, ironically, Albania was never invaded by the Yugoslavs, but even today, the Albanians of Yugoslavia do not understand how it was possible to have such a bad time in the history class, failing to understand where it comes from. all this inferiority of certain leaders of Tirana to the politicians of Belgrade.
What does Serbia benefit from Vucic's international friendships?
And Vucic, on the other hand, with the friendships he has in Europe and Asia, what good is he bringing to Serbia?
He, unlike Rama, is not giving up even one millimeter from the national interests of the Serbs of Kosovo, Bosnia, Montenegro and the rest of the world, and for this reason he is not coordinating with either Brussels or Washington. In every meeting with Putin, Vucic uses the opportunity to talk about Kosovo, how it is "occupied" by NATO troops, how the West has violently "annexed" Kosovo, how Dodik has been unjustly included in " American blacklist, etc. etc.
Recently, even in the welcoming meetings with the Turkish President, Erdogan, Vucic opened a new chapter of bilateral relations, signing 11 cooperation agreements with Turkey, without the need to receive any gifts (read: grandiose mosque) in exchange for influence. spiritual-religious on the Serbian society...
If we have seen a charismatic politician like Rama put his hand on the shoulders of many statesmen of Europe and the world, then a very logical question is asked: What good has Kosovo and Albania seen from this closeness of Rama to these statesmen, even as advantage over Vucic? Or maybe he has reserved that closeness to feed his career goals and ambitions in a high position in the hierarchy of politics or diplomacy of the EU, the UN, NATO. etc. etc.
If this whole circus of Rama's jokes and acquaintances with internationals has not produced any favor for the Albanian nation, then it turns out that he, in addition to playing the role of a tragicomic actor, has extinguished for a long time the illusions and hopes of Albanians that friendship with the western world can translate into prosperity for their nation and state.
In regional and European geopolitics, Edi Rama has shown that he can be a good carpenter to build the comic scenes of his appearances, but not a serious caliber politician that through acquaintances with internationals, would bring more investments and more well-being and safety in the lands of Albanians./ Pamphlet
