After a lengthy investigation by Pamphlet into the 1 billion euro deal between Aktor Group and the BNI Foundation for the exploitation of nickel-cobalt in Bilisht, the American foundation has officially spoken. The answer is clear: they have no connection.

On April 13, 2026, Shirley Towne, president of BNI Foundation Worldwide, Inc. based in Charlotte, North Carolina, responded to the Pamphlet's questions. In her email, she wrote: "BNI Foundation Worldwide, Inc. is not involved in, connected to, or affiliated with any mining or mineral exploration activities in Albania or elsewhere. The Foundation has not authorized any entity or individual to use its name in connection with commercial ventures. We are aware of the media references and are taking appropriate steps to ensure that the information is corrected."

This response confirms what the Pamphlet suspected from the beginning: the "BNI Foundation" that appears in the Bilisht agreement has no connection to the registered American foundation. Its name is being used without authorization to give legitimacy to a billion-dollar agreement for which no one can say with their hand on their heart who is really behind it.

In the announcement of "Aktor Group" on March 18, 2026, the BNI Foundation was described as a "diversified regional organization with consolidated subsidiaries in Albania" and promised that the financing would come "from American capital". But now it turns out that the American foundation of the same name has no knowledge of this project and has not given any authorization. So, either "Aktor Group" was deceived by its Albanian partner, or it has turned a blind eye to a deliberately constructed facade.

We recall that "Aktor"'s partner in this venture is Brightnest sh.pk, a company founded in October 2025 with a capital of only 100 lek (about 1 euro). Its owner is Mirsad Uruçi, the same businessman who has been the administrator of the Albanian branch of EFT Group, the company of Serbian energy oligarch Vuk Hamović, for years. Hamović appears in the famous OCCRP Suisse Secrets file with three accounts at Credit Suisse and is being investigated for corruption by British authorities.

The question that now arises is simple: who used the BNI Foundation name without permission? Why did a North Carolina children's charity find itself at the center of a billion-dollar deal for strategic minerals in Albania? And above all: did Aktor Group know that their partner was operating under a borrowed name?

Now that the American BNI Foundation has officially denied any connection, it is time for "Aktor Group" to show the verification documentation it did before signing. If such verification was not done, then the shareholders of the Greek company listed on the Athens Stock Exchange have the right to know why their management entered into a partnership with a structure that today turns out to have used a false name.

Now that the American foundation denies everything, the fact remains: BNI Foundation is not American, has no American capital, and has not authorized any of the Albanian or Greek parties to use its name.

The game of billions continues, but one of its pillars has already fallen. /Pamphlet
