US President Donald Trump continues to maintain his stance on the video that caused strong public reactions, in which Barack and Michelle Obama appeared as monkeys.
Although the post was deleted hours later and the White House attributed the publication to a staff error, Trump, answering questions from reporters aboard Air Force One, denied any personal responsibility. He described himself as “the least racist president you’ve had in a long time.”
" I've had very good relationships with black voters. They've been great to me and I've been great to them ," he said.
Barack and Michelle Obama have not directly responded to the video. However, late Friday evening, in their first response to the incident, they posted a message on social media wishing the US team success at the Winter Olympics.
