Hundreds of high school students gathered in front of the Parliament to support Diana Hrka, the mother of the boy who died in the tent collapse. The school absences, they say, do not concern them, because it is currently "the smallest problem" in this country.
Despite the fact that high school principals received a letter from the Ministry of Education that all those who are absent from class in support of Hrka will be recorded, students say that their parents will stand by them until further notice, and therefore they are not afraid of this decision.
Equipped with flags, megaphones, whistles and vuvuzelas, students from more than twenty high schools took part in a peaceful protest today.
Vasilije Keranović, a student at Belgrade's Fourth High School, their parents have always been and will always be with them, no matter what they decide to do.
"The Minister of Education's announcement does not bother us, we have come to support Diana, to show our dissatisfaction with this regime and the torture we experience every day. Not just high school students, but all high schools and all faculties ," says a student.
