Six people were injured, including a five-year-old child, in an explosion that occurred at noon on Friday at a beauty salon in the city of Grenoble, France. The news was confirmed by local authorities and reported by French media.
According to the same sources, the incident occurred shortly before 15:00, when several people entered the store premises and one of them threw a grenade. The injuries were caused by the shock wave of the explosion. The injured received first aid at the scene and, according to the authorities, did not require transportation to the hospital.

The beauty salon is located on the ground floor of a multi-story residential building, among several other commercial stores. Due to the force of the explosion, the storefront was completely destroyed.
The perpetrators immediately fled the scene and the motives for the attack are not yet known. French authorities have launched investigations to identify and apprehend those responsible, local media report.
