American journalist Michael Wolff has defended a 2015 email in which he gave media advice to Jeffrey Epstein. In an interview for the podcast 'Inside Trump's Head', he said it was a means of learning more about Epstein's relationship with Trump before that year's election,
Wolff said he was concerned that Trump could become president despite his relationship with Epstein. He added that the media has refused to release more than 100 hours of taped conversations between him and Jeffrey Epstein.
" Everyone has been offered the proposal. There is almost no media outlet, broadcaster, TV network, cable station, book publisher that hasn't jumped on this story, everyone says no ," he said on the podcast Inside Trump's Head.
He disagreed with the idea that the tapes were rejected because Epstein was not a credible narrator, but added that they fear criminal prosecution.
"The reason is that they're scared. They're scared of being sued by the Trump administration. They're scared, they're scared of what Donald Trump is going to do. Remember, Donald Trump has consistently, in every case, addressed the media and if he doesn't like what they do, he sues them ," he said.
