US President Donald Trump 'attacked' CNN journalist Caitlin Collins after her question regarding the Jeffrey Epstein case.
The debate began when the journalist was trying to present the latest revelations as damning only for Democrats, while the published documents show that Epstein has close ties to two of his allies, Elon Musk and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick.
"I'm sure it's okay, otherwise there would be big headlines," Trump said.
As the journalist persisted, saying: "Many women who are victims of Epstein are unhappy" with the way the Justice Department processed the documents.
The president attempted to close the dialogue by saying, " I think it's really time for the country to move on to something else, now that nothing has come of me ," but Collins continued to ask about survivors of Epstein's abuse.
Trump addressed the reporter in a harsh tone : "What did you say? You know, you're the worst reporter. I've never seen you smile. I've known you for ten years and I've never seen a smile on your face."
Collins interjected: I'm asking you about the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein abuse, Mr. President.
Trump continued: "You know why you're not smiling? Because you know you're not telling the truth. And you're a very dishonest organization and you should be ashamed of yourself."
