The General Director of the State Police, Director Madhor Skender Hita, this morning visited the Trauma Hospital of the Korça DVP Police employee, who, together with his colleague, while fulfilling his duty to crack down on the distribution of narcotics, were injured as a result of the intentional collision of a vehicle by one of the persons who was later arrested during the operation.
"I wish you and your other colleague, who is fortunately better and has left near your apartment, a speedy recovery. You have shown responsibility and professionalism in carrying out your duties."

"Go and stay calm, because all measures have been taken for your medical treatment and financial treatment by the State Police, as you were injured in the line of duty," Hita told him.
Two police officers, on the Korça-Pogradec road, near the village of Lumalas, have identified one of the persons suspected of distributing narcotics and have attempted to stop him. The 21-year-old, in order to escape arrest, intentionally hit the vehicle in which the two police officers were traveling, who were injured as a result of the collision.
During the operation, two citizens, aged 19 and 21, were caught and arrested in flagrante delicto, as well as a 27-year-old man, the owner of a bar where narcotics were sold and illegal gambling activities were carried out, was declared wanted.
As material evidence, quantities of suspected cannabis sativa and cocaine, divided into doses, as well as a poker table, were seized.
