Journalist Etleva Delia and author of the show "Gjërat Tona", in an interview with "NewsLine", said that the fire that destroyed the building in Tirana is suspected to be a result of negligence and that the starting point was on the first floor.
She stated that the situation escalated, but nevertheless, thanks to maximum work and commitment, it was possible to rescue residents who remained trapped.
"After the fire, the situation has now stabilized. An assessment of the damage is being made, where 30 apartments were destroyed by fire. Fortunately, this event ended without consequences for people. Yesterday, a great fight was fought by the fire brigade. There were people trapped in their apartments, as they were asleep, but fortunately they intervened and they were rescued. With the arrest of the supermarket manager, where the flames were seen starting, we are expected to have details, while it is not a deliberate fire. In a communication with engineers, they explained that the insulation systems of the facades of buildings are made with this 'foam', while in other cases glass wool is used. So, avoiding even checks on facade issues, this material creates concern. Another problem that came to light is that they do not respect the spaces and roads to allow the passage of firefighters," she said, among other things.
