Analyst Arjan Curri, during a discussion this evening in the "Top Story" studio, indicated that Adriatik is a friend of Lapaj, but does not approve of his decision not to withdraw from his ambition for the MP's seat.
According to Curri, Lapaj's recent reactions, where he even used the term 'swamp' towards his opponents, just as Prime Minister Edi Rama addresses the opposition, are disappointing.
" I have the Adriatic as a friend, but I have the truth as a friend. Apart from the fact of using a term borrowed from Rama (Këneta), his victimization also resembles Rama's when he wants to escape a situation. I am in a difficult position now, because I don't know Shabani at all. But I said, philosophy gives us this principle, that if you want to judge correctly, be empathetic, what would you do if you were in Shabani's shoes, and what would you do if you were in Lapaj's shoes. Would all this happen if Lapaj kept his word, when he said several times that he would not take the mandate ," he said.
The fact that Lapaj wanted to start politics with a broken promise is worrying, Curri continued.
" I say this and why I have a friend. That is, how can you demand that everyone keep their word, except you. Either everyone keeps their word, or don't demand that they keep their word. There comes a moment when you have to do what you said. And the old politics and the new politics were separated here. Because the old politics said different things, did different things. I have burned my career for broken words, I have fled many places because I have seen that someone has not kept their word , "he added.
Lapaj would be launched very strongly politically if he kept his word, the analyst emphasized in "Top Story".
