Protesters continued their march on the streets of Tirana this evening, as part of the 26th consecutive protest against the government, repeating calls for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
While moving through the capital, citizens have chanted in unison "Rama resign!", "Rama, Rama, f*ck you!" and "The end has come!". The latter is related to the statement made earlier by Prime Minister Edi Rama in an interview with the Financial Times, where he said that he responds to his critics with the phrase "f*ck you".
The march was accompanied by banners, chants and calls against the government, while protesters continued their movement on several main axes of the capital.
Currently, protesters are near the monument to the Unknown Soldier and are marching towards the Parliament, continuing the protest that has been going on for 26 days. Organizers have emphasized that the protest will continue every evening until their demands are met, with the main focus being the resignation of the Prime Minister.
