IT expert, Genti Progni, delivered his speech during the 26th opposition protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where he raised a series of claims regarding the monitoring of rally participants.
According to Progni, smart cameras have been installed in the protest area, while a Traffic Police vehicle has been following the march with monitoring equipment. He claimed that the purpose of these vehicles is to profile the protesters and exert pressure on them.
"They have decided on all the ways to profile us and put pressure on us. The camera above is intelligent, along with a Rrugores vehicle that made the march yesterday to profile us. Don't feel any pressure, they have nothing to do to you. We are not afraid," declared Progni.
He also added that a number on the WhatsApp application is sending messages to protesters asking them to stop participating in anti-government protests. Progni called on citizens to report this number.
"There is also a WhatsApp number that we should report. It writes to citizens asking them to leave the anti-government protest as soon as possible. Do not be afraid and do not give in to pressure ," he said.
In his speech, Progni also mentioned the issue of the "5D" company, which he said has caused damage to the homes of Tirana citizens. He also thanked several influencers who, according to him, have joined the cause of the protest, while at the end he also filed a complaint for the Lekbibaj area.
"I want to make another complaint about Lekbibaj. The village river has been called a stream, so that dams can be built and it can be destroyed. This must end," declared Progni.
