PL MP, Monika Kryemadhi, appeared at SPAK in implementation of the mandatory appearance measure.
During a conversation with journalists, Kryemadhi said that she will no longer go to the Prosecutor's Office. She jokingly said that she was told not to appear again because 'who can stand you'.
"I'm not coming anymore... They told me not to come anymore, because no one will tolerate you...", said Kryemadhi.
Kryemadhi further accused witnesses of being intimidated. She stated that she is facing absurd charges related to a loan she took out in 2010.
"I will also ask for many other witnesses, besides those called by SPAK, because of all the over 100 people who have been called, none of them have testified against me or Mr. Meta and others. What is striking is that the criminal offense, for me or my mother and others, is because I took out a loan in 2010 and the loan is illegal even though the loan I took out was repaid over a period of 4-5 years while my mother repaid it in 9 months, with other income. There is a 580-page financial analysis from SPAK, where we also have our analysis.
They will be faced with a difference. Our financial analysis with that of SPAK, the person who did it is not an expert licensed by the Ministry of Justice, while the one who did mine is licensed. On my side, I see abuse of office and an excess of competence in addition to discrimination and intimidation of witnesses and institutions... All of these are things that SPAK has used to obtain information from various businesses and I see it as an excess of duty to exercise intimidation against businesses that may have been part of the communication. I will also look at the summoning of several other witnesses. Specific names? Now it is too soon to burn it as news, but they are interesting names. Even my cousin from America. One of the memos I have requested is why he was not questioned. The prosecutor said that he did not come to Albania. But the prosecutor questioned McKeon, " said Kryemadhi.
Like Ilir Meta, his ex-wife says she will not request a summary trial.
"The file has been moved down from the third floor to the first, it's not that there's any change. No change. During all this time that I've received all the files, 5 CDs that are documentation. To be honest, the first thing I read were the letters of request, where in all of them, whether from the USA and England, Cyprus, or the Czech Republic, at least to talk about two things, it seems clearly an abuse of office by the prosecution, where the institutions themselves have made it known. But these are things that you will know later after we consult legally with the lawyers on how we should express ourselves. There will be no summary trial for me," said Kryemadhi.
