Today, a preliminary hearing for the 'Meta' file will be held at the GJKKO.
Ilir Meta himself was present at the last session, and requested to be familiarized with the acts. The GJKKO has ordered SPAK to make some of the acts available to the former president.
It is learned that Ilir Meta did not request the entire file, but only a part of the acts where SPAK claims to implicate the former president.
Meta and Kryemadhi are accused of passive corruption, money laundering and failure to declare assets. Pirro Xhixho is accused of passive corruption of high-ranking officials committed in collaboration, while Fatime Kryemadhi is accused of money laundering, together with Ema Çoku. Meta has been in prison since October 2024, while Kryemadhi is under arrest.
