The State Police has made official a series of changes in the leadership of the regions, with Ermal Muçi being appointed director of the Lezha Police. Meanwhile, Edvin Ndreu in Vlora, Ervin Hodaj in Durrës and Erion Ahmeti in Fier have received definitive appointments after exercising their command duties.
Police Chief Skënder Hita has made several changes at the regional leadership levels, formalizing new appointments in some of the country's most important local directorates.
It is learned that career officer Ermal Muçi has been appointed director of the Lezha Police.
Muç's appointment comes at a time when the Lezha region has been the focus of law enforcement institutions after several criminal incidents recorded in recent months.
Meanwhile, changes have also been made official in several other local directorates. Edvin Ndreu has been definitively confirmed as head of the Vlora Police, Ervin Hodaj as head of the Durrës Police, and Erion Ahmeti as head of the Fier Police.
The three leaders exercised their duties with command and, after completing the competition and professional evaluation process, have already received their final appointment to the positions they had held for several months.
Sources at the State Police indicate that these moves are part of the process of consolidating leadership structures at the local level, with the aim of increasing operational efficiency, strengthening the fight against crime and improving police performance in the main regions of the country.
Lezha, Vlora, Durrës and Fier are considered regions of particular importance due to the high flow of movements and challenges related to public order and security. For this reason, the management of these structures is seen as one of the most important responsibilities within the State Police.
