The story of the 15-year-old from Tirana who killed himself in Saranda, after posting violent and satanic material on social networks, is a wake-up call for Albanian society, according to pastor Akil Pano.
He raised concerns about the existence of well-organized satanic groups in our country, calling on the Minister of Interior and the Director of Police to investigate.
"This story constitutes an alarm bell for Albanian society, suicide has repeatedly been. There are signs that ordinary people cannot distinguish, therefore I call on the Minister of Interior and the Director of Police that when we have cases of a suicide that leaves a shadow of suspicion of a teenager who had no reason to commit suicide such as depression, anxiety, bullying, then there are several clues that must be investigated and within these is the occult world, satanic messages and spells and are there satanic sectarian groups that exercise activity in Albania. Absolutely there are, I do not want to give a figure because I do not want to scare the public, but there are many organized satanic groups. These groups are part of a closed community not open to the public," Pano said on A2 CNN.
According to him, in these cases, the police should not rush to report it as a suicide but should investigate and research.
Asked how a teenager falls prey to these satanic groups, Pastor Pano replied: " The first is curiosity about what is beyond the dimension of life, which is sold to these children as a pure and good world that provides the child with some elements that school does not give them. Fame, clicks, power, the stories of showbiz stars."
Pano appealed to parents to be more attentive to their children.
"We need to be mindful as parents about where they spend their time on the phone. If the child is overly protective and reacts aggressively when the parent tries to take the phone away, they need to enter their own world," he said.
Pano also said that 22,000 children go missing every day in the world, while there are currently 8 million children missing without a trace.
"There are 8 million missing children in the world. Trump said a month ago that there are 300,000 missing children from the immigrant community who have entered the US in recent years and have disappeared, kidnapped without a trace, of which the US has only found 10,000. There are 22,000 children a day who disappear in the world today. These are tragic figures," he concluded.
