The Mayor of Skrapar, Adriatik Mema, today called on MPs from both political parties who are from Skrapar to cooperate in the drafting and especially the implementation of several projects related to the road infrastructure of this municipality.
In a message he sent to Enriketa Jaho and Hysen Buzali, SP MPs, but also Besart Xhaferri and Zija Ismaili, DP MPs, he asked for cooperation for the sake of a major interest, which is the construction of communication routes in this area.
Skrapar is the only area in Albania that is completely isolated and has no infrastructure connection to any of the neighboring municipalities, except for Berat, which leads there. Although Skrapar has neighbors Korça, Gramsh, Përmet and in a small area even Kolonjë, there is no road communication with any of these municipalities.
Faced with this situation, Mayor Mema has called on the deputies to cooperate to make possible the change in the situation that has been promised to the residents for 35 years.
"Regardless of your party affiliation, I firmly believe that what unites the four of you is Skrapar, your place of origin. Therefore, as Mayor, I would humbly ask for your support regarding development projects for Skrapar. With your education, you have the opportunity to be a strong and well-coordinated voice in the Assembly, so that like never before, more can be done for Skrapar and that wonderful community that truly deserves much more," the message sent by Mema states, among other things.
Meanwhile, it is learned that all four MPs have responded positively to this call and a meeting with Mayor Mema is expected to be organized very soon.

As you prepare to be sworn in as a member of the Albanian Parliament, I wish you success and prosperity in this journey full of responsibility that you are embarking on today. I am convinced that you will give your best in the service of those who voted for you and not only, to represent them and to serve you with dignity and at the height that this noble duty requires.
Regardless of your party affiliation, I firmly believe that what unites the four of you is Skrapar, your place of origin. Therefore, as Mayor, I would humbly ask for your support regarding development projects for Skrapar. With your education, you have the opportunity to be a strong and well-coordinated voice in the Assembly, so that more can be done than ever before for Skrapar and that wonderful community that truly deserves much more.
