Increased checks at the Institution for the Execution of Criminal Decisions in Durrës have revealed another case of an attempt to introduce prohibited items into the prison premises.
At around 09:20, during the physical and scanner checks carried out on family members entering to meet with the prisoners, a mobile phone was found in the jacket of the citizen with the initials ZK.
According to preliminary information, the woman had gone to meet her son, Alfred Bala, who is in Building A of Durrës Prison.
After finding the mobile phone, the authorities drafted the relevant minutes and notified the Agency for the Supervision of the System of Execution of Criminal Decisions (AMSEVP) for the continuation of legal procedures.
The case is being followed up by the responsible structures to determine the full circumstances of the event.
