When about 70% of the ballots received from embassies and consulates have been counted, the Vetëvendosje Movement has increased its advantage over its rivals, while the PDK drops to 23 seats.

The process of counting votes from abroad is continuing at the Counting and Results Center in Kosovo, while preliminary results show a further strengthening of the position of the Vetëvendosje Movement.

According to data so far, when about 70 percent of the votes from embassies and consulates have been counted, LVV has secured 299,526 votes, or 43.62 percent of the total, a result that currently translates into 50 mandates in the Kosovo Assembly.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo ranks second with 143,770 votes, or 20.94 percent, securing 23 parliamentary seats.

Meanwhile, the Democratic League of Kosovo received 117,361 votes, which constitutes 17.09 percent of the total, currently translating into 19 seats in the Assembly.

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has so far secured 49,123 votes, or 7.15 percent, leaving it with eight mandates.

The results show that the diaspora's votes are strengthening the position of Vetëvendosje, which is maintaining a significant gap with other political parties.

However, the counting process has not yet been completed and the results may change until the full counting of votes from outside Kosovo is completed.
