" For a long time, the story of President Trump's family, which was focused on the interest of a large investment in the Vlora area by other neighboring countries in the region, had not been digested. It was a thorn in the side of the eye and this moment was found. This event was used to immediately create complete harmony with social networks, with interest groups and with everything. We immediately saw it above all associations, all NGOs, all groups that were in silence.
I didn't see anyone getting up to protest in Lezha or in Tirana. As soon as this happened in Vlora, I was impressed, social networks exploded, the immediate organization that started from neighboring countries. And I have doubts, not that they organize, please we need to clarify, but there is a rise of external factors to sabotage this huge investment in the south of the country.
I am for transparency, I am for that investment to be clarified and the national interests to be where they are. But on the other hand, I am not for turning our backs on foreign investments because we will never be serious with other countries and with very important global interest groups. And they will say Albania is a trash can that only trash should be taken. Not money! The money is taken to Montenegro and Greece and not to Albania anymore", he said on the "Now" show on Euronews Albania.
