Egnatia has secured a place in the Albanian Cup final, after defeating Elbasan on penalties at the “Elbasan Arena” stadium. Regular time ended in a 1-1 draw, just like in the first leg, while extra time also produced no winner, leading the challenge to penalty kicks, where the Rrogozhin team proved to be more accurate.
Everything started well for Egnatia, scoring with Gruda in the 11th minute. Meanwhile, in the 58th minute, Musta scored the equalizer for the Elbasan team. But, after this minute, it seemed as if the teams no longer had the strength to score another goal.
120 minutes of play ended in a draw, while in the penalty shootout, the players from Rrogozhina proved to be more accurate. In the penalty shootout, the players led by Edlir Tetova proved to be more accurate, thus ensuring qualification for the final, where they will face the winner of the Vllaznia-Dinamo pair. The first match played in the capital ended in a 1-1 draw.
