Munir Nasraoui, the father of Spain's young star Lamin Jamal, will not be present at the stadium for the World Cup final against Argentina. He has linked his absence to health problems, revealing that he suffers from epilepsy.
Nasraoui has not closely followed any of Spain's matches during this World Cup, explaining that strong emotions can cause crises.
" I am proud and grateful for Spain's great victory. I am especially happy for my son and for all the players ," he said on the show "Y ahora Sonsoles".
The father of the Spanish talent also revealed the emotional conversation he had with Lamin Jamal after the semi-final triumph over France.
" He told me he was proud of me. I told him I was even more proud of him ," Nasraoui confessed.
Speaking about his health condition, he emphasized that he is forced to avoid situations with high emotional load.
" I have to take some medication every day and strong emotions can cause me to have a crisis. I can create problems, so it's better to stay home and watch the game here ," he said.
In the interview, Nasraui also commented on the recent robbery attempt at Lamin Jamal's villa in Esplugues de Llobregat, announcing that the case is now in the hands of lawyers.
" I have contacted the lawyers and they are dealing with the matter. They are shameless people ," he declared.
