Several activists and fans of the Albanian national football team protested on Thursday in front of the offices of the Albanian Football Federation, where clashes with police and security were not uncommon.
The fans' reaction comes after the Albanian Football Federation ordered that no KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army) symbols, flags or jerseys, be in the "Arena Kombëtare" stadium for the match against Serbia.
The scenes of the police forcibly removing flags from the stadium, or even the removal of fans wearing KLA t-shirts, were shameful, with the organizers, in this case the Albanian Football Association, being held responsible.
For this event, some fans went to the AFF offices in Tirana on Thursday night and placed KLA flags outside the institution's perimeter. Private security and police clashed with the fans, where there was no lack of tension.
