Juljan Shehu was the main protagonist of Vidzew Lodz's victory over Zaglebie today, in the first week of the Polish championship. The midfielder of the Albanian national team scored the only goal of the match, which gave his team three points in its debut.
" I'm happy with my performance, with the goal and the three points. Maximum appreciation for everyone as they gave everything. It's not easy to win matches like this ," said Shehu after the end of the match.
" In the first game of the season, it doesn't matter how much you've trained and what form you're in. We got the maximum points, everything is going in the right direction and we're happy. Now let's look at the next game we have ahead of us ," said the midfielder at the end of the challenge.
Shehu has been mentioned as a player who could move during the summer transfer window, as his performances have sparked interest outside of Poland. But Vidzev Lodz is simultaneously trying to renew the Albanian national team midfielder's contract.
