Vedat Muriqi is having one of the most outstanding seasons of his career, becoming one of Mallorca's main protagonists in La Liga. The Kosovo international striker has been decisive in several matches, contributing with goals that have secured the team important points in the fight for survival.
One of the highlights of the season was the match against Real Madrid, where Muriqi scored the winning goal in extra time to make it 2-1, confirming his key role in the team's offensive department.
He currently has 19 goals in the Spanish league, ranking among the top scorers of the season. Muriqi is only four goals behind the leader of this ranking, Kylian Mbappe, which puts him in direct competition with the big names of European football.
His high performance has also been reflected in the Golden Boot rankings, where he is approaching the podium. The next target for the Kosovar striker is Erling Haaland, who currently holds third place with 44 points, accumulated from 22 goals in the English championship.
