Albania has started its competitions in the "Paris 2024" Olympic Games today. The first competition for the red and black team was in the shooting sport, with Manjola Konin in the qualifiers of the 10-meter air pistol discipline.
Konini could not qualify, as she finished in 43rd place among 44 contestants, registering 549 points. The 48-year-old from Tirana, who participates by invitation in "Paris 2024", will also compete in the 25-meter pistol discipline on August 2.
Her achievements in the world of sports are numerous, it is worth mentioning that she was declared the champion of the Balkans for young people in the distance of 10 and 25 meters. Kokini has also shown himself in Italy, where he came first 5 times, so in our country he has won 7 times. Konini, as is known, has been training in Italy for a good period.
Albania's next competition at the Olympic Games will be tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. with swimmer Kaltra Meça in the qualifying heats of the 200-meter freestyle discipline.
The Olympic Games will take place from July 26 to August 11. In Paris, over 10,000 athletes will compete.
