From Hysaj and Kumbulla to Broja and Gjimshiti; who are the 10 highest paid

The Albanian national team players are increasingly confirming their weight in the international arena, not only with their appearances on the field, but also through the important contracts they have secured with the clubs they play for. At the top is Elseid Hysaj, who is currently the highest-paid Albanian at Lazio. The full-back earns a salary that varies between 3.5 and 3.7 million euros per season.

After him comes Marash Kumbulla, who, thanks to his contract with Roma, even though he was activated on loan, earns around 3.2–3.4 million euros per year, a figure that keeps him among the highest-paid names in the national team.

Ernest Muçi has had a significant increase, who is paid 2.8–3 million euros per season in the Turkish championship. Then Armando Broja. The red and black striker benefits approximately 2.34 million euros per season at Burnley. In the middle of the field stands out Kristjan Asllani, who in Turin benefits about 1.8–2 million euros per season.

The list continues with Nedim Bajrami, the attacking midfielder of Sassuolo, who earns 1.6–1.8 million euros per season, and Gjimshiti with 1.7 million euros at Atalanta. Another important name is Mario Mitaj, who after transferring to Saudi Arabia to Al-Itihad has secured a contract worth around 1.5 million euros per season, very high considering his age.

From La Liga, Ivan Balliu, who with Rajo Vajekano earns between 1.2 and 1.4 million euros per season, being one of the most consistent Albanian defenders in Spain. The list is closed by Ardian Ismajli, the center back of Empoli, with an annual salary of around 1.2 million euros.
