Arbnor Muçolli is really unlucky in 2024. The attacking midfielder who was shining with Gothenburg in Sweden, is forced to stop for a long period now, having damaged the cruciate ligament in his knee and has to undergo surgery.
Coach Silvinho has not hidden his admiration for the footballer and only an injury a few weeks before the start of "EURO 2024" deprived him of the opportunity to be on the list of footballers assembled for the activity. Afterwards, Muçolli returned to the field of play with his team and was playing regularly.
But this Saturday he sprained his knee in the first half of the match in the championship and had to leave the playing field in pain. Tests confirmed the worst, cruciate ligament damage and the need to undergo surgery that will keep him out of football until 2025.
" I felt a lot of pain immediately after it happened and I knew it wasn't good at all. When I got the message of what it was, it was a hard feeling and it's been a rough few days. But now I'm looking forward to the surgery and fighting to come back strong in 2025 ," said the Albanian offensive midfielder.
