Ardian Ismajli has taken the next step in his career, joining the Torino team this summer. The Albanian national team defender has immediately started working with the team and is projected to be among the starters for the Turin side who have ambitions to fight for a place in Europe.
A season that starts with a different team, but also with a different jersey number for Ismajli, who will not have his favorite in this edition of Serie A. Throughout his career, Ismajli has worn the number 34, which has accompanied him to Hajduk Split, Spezia and most recently Empoli.
This season, Ismajli will start with the number 44 on his shirt. This is because the number 34 belongs to another player who has been at Torino for a while, Biragit. Therefore, the national team defender has chosen a similar number to wear in his first season with the Torino shirt.
