Albanian football star Granit Xhaka was recently invited to the popular YouTube channel "SportBible", where he participated in a food tasting challenge with foods from different countries around the world.
During the video, Xhaka was asked to try and rate typical British and international products. However, the moment that attracted the most attention was when traditional Albanian dishes were placed in front of him.
In one of the challenges, between a traditional English mash and ajvar from Kosovo, the footballer chose the latter without hesitation.
" Without a doubt, I choose ajvar ," said Xhaka, emphasizing his connection to this traditional product.
He also explained to the international audience the importance of ajvar in Albanian cuisine: “ In Kosovo, we all eat it for breakfast. It is found in every home, and I myself consume it regularly in my own home .”
His statement was interpreted as a promotion of Albanian culture and food tradition on a global platform, sparking interest and positive reactions from the public.

Femija im tundte flamurin e Skenderbeut e therrrishte Flamuri Kuq e Zi e une perlotesha, ndersa femijet e balasheve bir balasheh te rritur me flamure lara bala tere jeten do jene e jetojne lara bala.
