River Plate dominated from the first minutes of the match, in the match against the Japanese Urawa Reds, valid for the Club World Cup.
The Argentines imposed their rhythm on their opponents. River Plate scored the first goal in the 12th minute with a stunning header from Collindio and doubled their lead in the 48th minute.
The Japanese responded and in the 56th minute won a penalty after Acuña pushed Kaneko. Two minutes later, Matsuo fired in a perfect shot, making it 2-1 for River Plate.
However, Marcelo Gallardo's team did not lose control of the match. They continued to press rationally and even scored a third goal, "locking" their victory in the 73rd minute with a header by Meza from Acuña's corner, which brought the score to 3-1.

Inter "made a mistake"
Champions League finalists Inter Milan drew 1-1 with Mexican side Monterrey in the first match of Group 5 of the Club World Cup, which took place in Los Angeles.
Despite the Nerazzurri's initial dominance, the Mexicans took the lead in the 25th minute. 39-year-old Sergio Ramos beat two defenders in the air and opened the scoring for Monterrey with a powerful header from a corner kick.
Inter's response came just before the break. In the 42nd minute, it was Martinez who equalized.
Monterrey missed a great opportunity to pull off a surprise in extra time when Nelson Deosa found himself in a shooting position, but his shot ended up on the outside of the goal.
