Striker Armando Broja scored the first goal for Albania in the 3-0 friendly win against Liechtenstein. He expressed his happiness for the performance as well as the fact that they are ready for the European Championship.
" Things at the club don't always go as you want, but the coach chooses, he has it in his hands. When I come here it gives me a different emotion and when we join the team it's a beautiful thing, I can play football the way I like it and beautiful football. I'm always ready, ever since I was a little boy. I give my best, I'm here to help the team with goals, assists and to do my job as a striker to make the difference, that's why I'm here, God willing, to do my best for the National Team.
Physically I'm very well, I've worked hard to be in top shape, I'm back like before the injury. I am very good and I wish I could, I enjoyed playing even more today, but the coach knows that I should see the other players as well.
I really enjoyed being on the field today. I've been out of the national team for almost 2 years due to an injury, we know each other well in football and we all get along well, we stay together outside of training, the coach has brought us together as a team.
We also play for the fans, they gave me a lot of love when I came here and I thank all the Albanians for the trust they have in me. All the players here have played against strong teams, that's the beauty when we play against strong teams. We have worked hard and we know that it is not comfortable, but we have prepared very well, everything depends on the match, it is only 90 minutes and I am ready for all the opportunities that come my way ", Broja declared for "Super Sport".
